I'm proud to announce that as of 7/30, I will be starting work on completely remaking the original System Shock soundtrack as a fan album release.

Considering that an alternate remix soundtrack is not planned for the release of the remake even though a stretch goal was hit, I think that every fan should still have the remixed soundtrack they were promised.

While it unfortunately won’t be an option to play inside the game, you’ll have your familiar tunes recharged as a modern soundtrack made with love right here in my Citadel Station themed music studio. I'm putting blood, sweat and tears into this one... and it will be treated the same way as I do any project. Don't think for a second that just because it says "fan" on it, that it won't be AAA.

Yes, there will be some heavy metal industrial guitar in a few tracks. Yes, it will be the best System Shock remix album you'll ever hear. No, it will not be in the game.

I’m working on this alongside a movie soundtrack, so the plan is to have the remix album to launch simultaneously with the remake, which should give ample time.
