Mickey (Michael) Wilson is an up-and-coming electronic film music composer, mastering engineer, audio engineer, guitarist, and producer who was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, USA. He has been playing guitar since age 13 and composing electronic music since age 25. Mickey is best known for his electronic synthwave film score to "Drinking Games" as well as his lead guitar work in previous bands (Arcane Framework, Depth of All Things). At age 7, Mickey and his family relocated to the Chicagoland suburbs for most of his adolescent life. At age 25, he moved to Southern California where he worked on multiple video game soundtracks shortly before moving back to Illinois. It was then that he was discovered by film producer Zach Liberman (Drinking Games) at Emporium Arcades in Lake County, IL where Mickey was promoting his concept album, "Press Start". Mickey was then referred to Hayward Winston Suggs for the film music composer role to "Drinking Games" where he eventually decided to take on bigger roles for the movie which resulted in his first three IMDb credits: Composer, Executive Producer, and Sound Mixer. On April 30th 2017, Mickey decided to settle down in Dallas, Texas with his fiancée Elina Morano and has become an approved Apple "Mastered for iTunes" audio engineer- an accomplishment that allows him to put his stamp of approval on music being submitted into the "MFiT" section of the Apple iTunes store.
